Nurturing Faith:
Inspiring Learning

Willow Class

 (reception and Pre-School)

Willow class is made up of children aged between 3 & 5.  We spend our time enjoying fun, independent learning activities and playing, as well as developing our reading, writing and number work through teacher led and supported activities.  In Willow Class, we love to work hard and play lots!

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which includes the following areas:

The three prime areas:

  • communication and language;
  • physical development;
  • personal, social and emotional development.

And the four specific areas:

  • literacy;
  • mathematics;
  • understanding the world;
  • expressive arts and design.

Mrs Gardner is the class teacher and is supported by Mrs Ridding, Mrs Lewis, and Miss Burge to make a very busy and happy classroom environment.

We are sure that your child's transition into school life will be fun and straightforward and these first years will be some of the best!

At Cameley Primary School we pride ourselves in our Early Years provision. We accept children in our Early Years Unit from the term they are three years old.  We aim to nurture each child's love of learning.
