Nurturing Faith:
Inspiring Learning

School visions & Values

Our School Christian Vision

‘Nurturing Faith: Inspiring Learning'

Our vision guides us to be ambitious, enabling our school community to grow and develop, supported by the teachings of Jesus

“Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in our hearts and make us wise" (Colossians 3:16)

Our vision is to provide excellent learning and life experiences for our children by inspiring them.  We are committed to nurturing and inspiring all children to learn and be the very best version of themselves.  We do this by placing our pupils at the heart of our community, investing in our staff, curriculum and our links with the school community to offer our pupils the best possible start on their education journey.

We aim to achieve this through our broad curriculum, within and beyond our classroom, equipping children with the knowledge, skills and understanding to succeed in our ever-changing world.

Our four key Curriculum roots of aspiration, reflection, innovation and inclusion are at the forefront of our school and linked with our Christian Values.

Christian Values

Underpinning our School Vision 'Nurturing Faith: Inspiring Learning' our Christian Values form the framework on which we build our school community. We want these key Values to help us actively live out our Vision. They colour and shape our aims, our character, our ethos and subsequently the experience of learning and school.

Although we're always mindful of all 12 values, each term we focus on one. Each term's value is especially evident in our Collective Worship, but will also be explored and celebrated further in PSHE, Art, Music, RE and wherever other curriculum opportunities arise.
